Within the generate orthogonal design procedure our plan cards constantly have 2 of the same cards, these plan cards always have the following values : 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0
We have 5 attributes with each 3 values in our orthogonal design.
We did the generate orthogonal design procedure multiple times with different random number seeds.

https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/490165/repeated-measures-ancova-estimated-marginal-means-1.html
When running a Repeated Measures analysis, I have included a number of covariates in the model.
The model is taking them into account, as they are effecting the significance of the Multivariate Tests, as well as the Tests of Within Subject Effects- compared to when the covariates are not included.
However, the Estimated Marginals Means are not effected at all, as they are **exactly** the same as those found in the descriptive statistics table, despite a note at the bottom of the EMM table claiming the covariates are being evaluated with various values.

I've recently been thrown into our small office SPSS role and am learning on the fly. I am creating simple SUM descriptive variables for several Alaskan locations in our study by study year (e.g., 2008 through 2017). Our previous SPSS person created thousands of lines of code and I feel like some of it can be condensed. Can someone help me identify a way to condense the following code using a DO REPEAT or LOOP or similar function so that I can analyze the results by study year without 70 lines of codes?
Current SPSS Code:

Dear all,
I have a factorial variable (country_num: 6 countries, e.g. Belgium = 1, France = 2...) and want to create dummies with the do repeat function. I use the following code:
DO REPEAT A= belgium france germany netherlands otherEU nonEU /B=1 2 3 4 5 6.
COMPUTE A=(country_num=B).
RECODE A (A = 1)(else = 0).
END REPEAT.
EXECUTE.
It works, but gives me an error for the recode line (I know that it's coded incorrectly, but can't figure out a better way). What would be the correct solution?

https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/472709/rm-glmmv-more-reliable-than-difference-scores.html
Hello,
(Also asked on ResearchGate)
There has been lots of debate about the use of change scores for pre/post experimental design/analysis, with reliability of the change score being a possible issue in some circumstances. Given that SPSS produces multivariate test results for RMANOVA, which presumably don't use difference scores, are such multivariate (MV) results more reliable?
It seems, from one of my current projects, that for a pre/post design and two between factors each at two levels, the results all agree with each other (ANOVA on diff results = RMANOVA univariate results = RMANOVA MV results) ... so while I had expected the MV results to be more reliable, I can't see how they can also be identical to the univariate!
Any help or suggested references would be appreciated! :-)

I'm just wondering how the multivariate section of the RM-GLM output is produced. Specifically what is the restriction on the MV analysis to make the RM-GLM/MV analysis different to a straight MV analysis on the same variables?

https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/467344/repeated-calls-to-solve-in-python-docplex-can-exce.html
I've implemented a Frank-Wolfe algorithm in Python 3.6 using docplex 2.7.113 and CPLEX Optimizaiton Studio 12.8.0 for the linear optimization step. Each iteration of this algorithm involves optimizing a linear program with the same constraints but a different objective function. Accordingly, I've configured a Model with the appropriate constraints, and in each iteration I call Model.minimize with the new objective followed by Model.solve.
After 980 iterations, however, computation fails upon reaching maximum recursion depth. Upon inspection with a debugger, at first glance it looks like OutputStream.flush (at cplex/\_internal/\_ostream.py:148) has entered an infinite loop; however, it looks like what's actually happening is that each subsequent call to Model.solve wraps the current streams (log, error, warning, etc.) in yet other OutputStreams.
This seems to be a result of docplex's use of SilenecedCplexContext at docplex/mp/cplex_engine.py:1898. Each call is intended to save the current log stream and replace it with a silent dummy stream, and then restore the stream upon SilecnedCplexContext.\_\_exit\_\_. However, the way this is accomplished is (ultimately) with a call to cplex's Environment.\_set_stream (at cplex/\_internal/\_\_init\_\_.py:256), which creates a new OutputStream wrapping the old one as if it were a file handle.
What is needed is a means of setting the Environment's streams exactly back to what they were or, alternately, to new streams pointing to the same file objects as before, such that nesting is not increased with each call.
Other than periodically recreating the Model object, I've not found an effective workaround for this bug. It would be sufficient to fully reset the output streams somehow, however Model.set_log_output_as_stream (docplex/mp/model.py:816) doesn't seem to be sufficient for this.
(As an aside, SilencedCplexContext only saves the log stream, but replaces all streams with this stream, though it seems docplex always uses the same stream for all purposes anyway.)pythondocplexrepeatrecursionWed, 29 Aug 2018 00:31:08 GMTRyan Riegeldiscriminant analysis with repeat measures and autocorrelation
https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/440319/discriminant-analysis-with-repeat-measures-and-aut.html
I have environmental data collected at 35 sample sites every couple weeks. Since my measurements were done on the same day at all 35 sites, data from the same day is not independent of the measurements taken on the same day at another site, which I've been told is 'repeated measures'. As well, data is spatially autocorrelated. My research aims to test whether the 35 sample sites will 'group' as a function of the environmental data, so I have been looking at doing a discriminant analysis. I can't find anything, however, to deal with spatial autocorrelation or repeated measures when performing a discriminant analysis.
Has anyone had to deal with this before? I am not statistically inclined, so it'd be ideal if there was step-by-step guide to DA accounting for autocorrelation.analysisrepeatmeasurediscriminantMon, 02 Apr 2018 23:33:07 GMTnjricharEnable repeat request for status "Could not start"
https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/439714/enable-repeat-request-for-status-could-not-start.html
The majority of the time that I want to repeat a Udeploy process is when it is in this state. The process could not start because the agents crashed. Instead of having to fill out the process again, after I bring the agents back online. I would like to have the repeat request button on this page as well, is there a way for me to be able to enable that feature for situations such as this?

https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/235885/lb-healthcheck-causes-too-many-repeat-logs.html
In each of our environments there is a load balancer setup to send a "HEAD" request to a port in each domain to verify it is up and still active. The problem we encounter with this approach is that even this small request sent every 15 seconds can generate massive amounts of logs as the request rule is processing it.
In our Dev environment where the traffic is not large from the developers it would be nice to use the Probe without the LB pushing the request or response in question out of range.
Second we have off the box logging and over time when we look in our Dev logs 98% of the traffic and logs generated are related to a health check. We have multiple domains and multiple active ports but over time the device is almost constantly servicing a health check request.
I am open to any approach that would eliminate the amount of logs generated. Should we change our health check approach? Can I suppress the calls from appearing in the logs permanently around the processing of the health check? We tried using TCP pings as the health check originally but felt making a HTTP request was better because we know the Domain is up.datapowerlogginglogrepeatlbThu, 29 Oct 2015 13:02:34 GMTKJC05Plugins repeted twice
