https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/507700/modifying-key-exchange-and-mac-algorithms-datapowe.html
Hi,
I am working with a customer who is using DataPower 7.1 Firmware. I need to enable the following key exchange and mac algorithms for ssh communication over SFTP:
**Key exchange algorithm - diffie-hellman-group14-sha256; diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha256
MAC (cypher) algorithm - hmac-sha2-256; hmac-sha2-384; hmac-sha2-512**
I understand this is possible in later versions of the product using kex-alg and mac-alg (and SSL Server Profile), but as firmware upgrade is not currently viable, is there a workaround?
thanks

https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/496345/error-when-putting-the-results-in-a-vector-cplexc.html
Hello,
I'm using CPLEX API with C++ in my algorithm, when I attempt to get my solution from the "**IloNumArray**" which has my solution to put it in a variable of type "**vector**", I do not get the same solution, here is my code :
if (cplex.solve())
{
IloNumArray vals(env);
cplex.getValues(vals, var);
cout << "vals here : \n" << vals << endl;
solution.clear();
vector<int> sousSolution;
cout << "Here PB : " << endl;
for (IloInt i = 0; i < vals.getSize(); i++)
{
sousSolution.push_back(vals[i]);
}
}
For some iterations, I have no problem, for some other iterations, somtimes if : vals[i] = 1, I found sousSolution[i] = 0 ?!!! Is there any explications about this problem ? I just note that in my model, the variables are binaries.

https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/401080/spss-22-change-ptile-algorithm-in-statistics-synta.html
Using SPSS 22 and in some documentation I came across it lists several types of percentile calculations:
http://mondi.web.elte.hu/spssdoku/spsstbcb.pdf
HPTILE
WPTILE
RPTILE
EPTILE
APTILE
From what I gather the default is `APTILE`. I would like to change it to `HPTILE`. The thing is it doesn't really say where to change it in SPSS syntax.
So in the syntax, I have:
CTABLES
/TABLES
...
[VALIDN F40.0,ptile 5, ptile 10, ptile 15, ptile 20 PTILE 25, ptile 30, ptile 35
ptile 40, ptile 45, MEDIAN, MEAN, ptile 55, ptile 60, PTILE 65, ptile 70, PTILE 75, ptile 80, ptile 85, PTILE 90, PTILE 95]
I was hoping it would be as simple as changing `PTILE` to `HPTILE`, but it results in an `TABLE: Text hptile. An invalid subcommand, keyword, or option was specified.`
How can I change the percentile algorithm used?
The issue is that the `PTILE` default doesn't calculate percentiles like Excel and any databases I know of, so I am trying to true SPSS to them.
I've been scouring through SPSS documentation and Google all day and have yet to find anything.spss#spssalgorithmsalgorithmThu, 14 Sep 2017 23:08:26 GMTishraqiyun77What Key Exchange, KEX, algorithms are used in Datapower 7.2 and in 7.5

I think there are some errors in the SPSS algorithms documentation. It shows at CROSSTABS that for the Spearman correlation the ranks are used and the rest goes then the same as with the Pearson correlation. However for ASE1 it actually uses another formula than the one shown at the Pearson correlation. The formula used is most likely the same as used by SAS (see http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/statug/65328/HTML/default/viewer.htm#statug_freq_details22.htm)
Also for Lambda the ASE1 (for Y|X) that is given is not the one being used. The one used is again similar to the one used in the SAS documentation (same link).
And in the formula for the symmetrical uncertainty coefficient the ASE0 has a small error. It shows a division by W which should be a multiplication by W.spssstatisticsalgorithmsMon, 14 Nov 2016 10:34:52 GMTstikpetSPSS Modeler Linear Regression Node's Clef codes...

https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/301245/what-is-the-real-difference-between-predictive-ins.html
Hi Team,
I am reviewing the slides from the Predict 1.3.5 GO training and I can't see what the differences is between the two new algorithms you added to the newest release. Here is what I pulled from the slides.
Algorithm New – Finite Domain
Detects abnormal elevations of metric values to a range that has not been reached during training
Can detect such a significant change even if it happens inside the baseline
Algorithm New – Predominant Range
Detects abnormal deviations from a range of values within which a metric normally varies.
Reading these two descriptions and looking at the slides, I could not perceive a significant difference between the two.
Thanks

https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/261907/why-spss-and-medcalc-give-different-results-for-ro.html
Hi!
I am analyzing a group of patients for which I have the values of a certain test variable X and their survival (1 or 0). I want to perform a ROC analysis and get the AUC value, and the optimal criterion by which I can divide the patients into surviving/non-surviving. The optimal criterion should correspond to the maximum pair of sensitivity and specificity (which should also correspond to the Youden index).
When I perform the ROC analysis I get different results for the optimal criterion in MedCalc and in SPSS and I am wondering why this analysis is so dependent on the software I use. Since in MedCalc the optimal criterion is calculated by the Youden index, I wrote a code in SPSS to calculate this index, but, as I said, the results are different.
Could you please help me to understand where the problem is?
In case, please let me know if you need for information. I can provide the raw data if it is needed.
I use Windows 7, IBM SPSS Statistics version 20 and MedCalc version 14.

Hi, I am a scientific researcher who wants to use CPLEX concert technology to solve some combinatorial optimization algorithms. I want to start learning a programming language for this purpose. The solution time of an algorithm especially while comparing different algorithms does matter. Which programming language do you suggest? The most important thing that I expect from the programming language is that the solution time of several runs be robust and consistent which lets one compare two different algorithms for a specific problem carefully. Is C++ implementation of these algorithms (which call CPLEX) faster than that of Java? It is also important to choose the one (programming language) that does have more complete library for using CPLEX. Please explain in details.
