https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/516425/formula-independent-students-test.html
Hello,
I've a question concerning the formule of an independant (unrelated) students 't test. To calculate t, you'll need n1, n2, mean of 1, mean of 2. I was wondering which group becomes group 1 and which one 2. Is that also based on the sum of ranks (like in Mann-Whitney-U the group with the lowest sum becomes group 1).
Thanks in advance!

https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/512206/-57.html
In a Domino document library I have need to hide the new, edit, and delete action buttons based on a user's access to those items in the ACL. The formula `!@UserAccess(@DbName; [CreateDocuments])` seems to work to hide page-level items like text and form fields, but is not working to hide the action buttons. Is there something I'm missing? Is there a better way to accomplish this? Any direction or assistance would be appreciated!dominoactionformulaThu, 18 Jul 2019 13:58:49 GMTSeamusE1B@UserAccess formula not working to hide action button

https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/486235/regression-analysis-in-spss.html
Hi guys, I have a question about a formula for the SPSS program. It's about my thesis for determining the Halloween and January Effects.
Yt = A + β · Dt + Et
The Yt of this formula illustrates the variable of the regression model to be explained. This variable is represented by the constant alpha and the regression coefficient beta. Both alpha and beta (β) are determined using regression analysis. Eta (Et) functions in this context as a disturbance term variable, which can lead to a possible degradation within the regression model. Delta (Dt) has its function as a dummy variable for the Halloween effect in the above formula. The dummy variable indicates a value of 1 for the period from November to April and a value of 0 for the months from May to October.
Many many thanks in advance!regressionanalysisformulafinanceThu, 27 Dec 2018 20:19:28 GMTTimo1994Standard Error Median Survival Time
https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/447053/standard-error-median-survival-time.html
I would like to understand how the standard error for the median survival time is calculated in SPSS 19.0
I've looked at the Algorithms document (ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/software/analytics/spss/support/Stats/Docs/19.0/Client/User_Manuals/English/IBM_SPSS_Statistics_19_Algorithms.pdf) and couldn't find an answer.
I found this review article (http://www.barkerstats.com/PDFs/tas.pdf) which outlines the formula in SPSS 17.0
$$ se(P_i) = P_i \sqrt{\sum^i_{j=1} ( \frac{q_j}{r_j p_j})} $$
Is this correct? If yes, how do I properly apply this quantity to the median survival time?kaplanmeierformulasurvivalThu, 10 May 2018 15:23:40 GMTMPahutaNeed "MAX" expression help in derive node
https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/441395/need-max-expression-help-in-derive-node.html
I need help building an expression in a Modeler (18.1) derive node. I'm trying to write a maximum (MAX) expression in Expression Builder with parenthetic arithmetic, several fields, and a nested MAX expression.
I need to derive "NEWFIELD" as MAX(FIELD1of20, (0.2*FIELD2of20),(MAX(FIELD3of20, FIELD4of20, FIELD5of20),(0.05*FIELD6of20), FIELD7of20, etc.).
This is easy in Excel, certainly this can be done in Modeler, right?
Modeler does allow the MAX of more than just two fields, right? How?modelerfunctionexpressionformulamaxMon, 09 Apr 2018 18:24:47 GMTgalletasAnomaly Detection Node - what are formulae and algorithms used to calculate the anomaly index?

I have a source in Watson Explorer Engine that I want to edit the custom rank score for. This source has documents that users can rate, and each user rating shows up as a content node that looks like this:
content <br>
name="Rating" action="none" weight="0" vse-streams="2" indexed-fast-index="checked-set" content-id="WibBGQAAAxpE" modified-by="anthony" tag="tag" u="2352" type="html">VALUE <br>

Where VALUE is a the text node of the content node and is a number between 1 and 5, and any document can have 0+ of these content nodes.
I want to incorporate the **average** ranking from users into the custom rank score. Can someone help me formulate the xml expression to do this? Hello.
I administer an ITM 6.3.0.7 installation utilizing 6.3.0.x Unix and Linux O/S agents.
I'm trying to find a good method to monitor CPU utilization on an LPAR. My performance team reports that using CPU Busy % and Idle CPU % are not sufficient.
Can anyone with experience monitoring CPU utilization provide some suggestions please?
Thanks,
