The latest questions for the topic "posthoc"2x2 between subjects design: where to look to see if my means are significantly different?
https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/511722/2x2-between-subjects-design-where-to-look-to-see-i.html
Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding my analysis. I have a 2x2 between subjects design (so 4 conditions) and I did a factorial ANOVA to answer my research question. So now, in my results I have a Table with the means and standard deviations. With subscripts I want to point out if the means do differ significantly from each other. If i would have had three groups I could choose for a post hoc Tukey test, but i only have two groups (with two levels each) so it says I cant do the Tukey test. Where do i look then to see if the means differ significantly from each other? Is it just in the table 'Tests of Between-subjects Effects' in my output?? I hope you understand what I mean and that someone can help me. Tia!statisticsanovameanposthocSun, 14 Jul 2019 13:55:43 GMTirenevdaPost-hoc test are different in one-way and two-way ANOVA
https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/504119/post-hoc-test-are-different-in-one-way-and-two-way.html
When doing post-hoc test on one factor in a repeated-measures ANOVA (both factors within subject) in SPSS, the standard error and the p-value are different in the one-way and the two-way ANOVA. Why and how is SPSS adjusting the post-hoc tests in the two-way ANOVA?

https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/481279/how-to-do-post-hoc-tests-in-spss-mixed-procedure.html
I'm using MIXED procedure to look at group by time interactions. The output produced by the EM Means tab provides allows me to see mean differences by group at each time point, however it does not provide a p-value. Repost a question. Could anyone answer or comment the question linked below? In brief, for one way repeated measures ANOVA spss post hoc LSD test is simply paired t test, which is not the original definition of LSD. Is this a software bug? Or is there any reason to do this intentionally for one way repeated measures?

This question is of special interest, since many other types of post hoc test methods are based on LSD test, with further correction. For example, Bonferroni post-hoc test (which further correct type I error inflation based on Fisher´s LSD test).

When I perform the Cochran's Q test in the 24 v of SPSS (Analyze - Nonparametric tests - Related Samples), and I choose the "All Pairwise" option in the "Multiple comparisons" box, the software output reports the statistic and the p value (with the Bonferroni adjustment), but I want to know what test was employed to make the multiple comparisons (is it the McNemar test?).statisticsnonparametricposthocTue, 12 Dec 2017 22:35:46 GMTAlejandro GaytanI need to carry out a linear mixed models with post hoc Sidek. I need to carry out a linear mixed models with post hoc Sidek. I can't seem to figure out how to do this on version 25. Any help is appreciated. I am new to SPSS!linearmixedmodelsposthocThu, 09 Nov 2017 20:52:27 GMTcdezynski
