Question & Answer

Question

Why different transaction instances executing different versions of MF COBOL applications in TXSeries region.

Answer

When ever the transaction executed first in the CICSAS process, the TXSeries CICS MF COBOL applications will load into CICSAS process. If the application (eg, PROG1.cbmfnt) is renamed and application source recompiled to create new application (eg, PROG1.cbmfnt), then you must perform "CEMT SET PROG() NEWC" to intimate to load modified application during the next invocation of the transaction from any CICSAS process.
