What documentation is available?

CICS® TS for z/OS® provides documentation in a number of formats for use from the internet or from a local system. Some of this documentation is translated into languages other than English. This section provides links to all the documentation for all supported releases of CICS TS for z/OS.

Changes to documentation describes any significant changes to the documentation.

Options and attributes on CICS interfaces are represented in a particular way in the documentation. Conventions used in the documentation explains the format of syntax diagrams and the terminology that we use.

Giving feedback on CICS documentation

We welcome your comments on the CICS product documentation, whether they are for small changes or more significant enhancements. The documentation is refreshed regularly in response to feedback, so please let us know what you think.

  • In IBM Documentation, you can rate the content on each page or you can send feedback through IBM Support.
  • You can raise Requests for Enhancement to the documentation and vote on requests that have been made by other users. For details, see IBM RFE Community.
