Question

When using AT-TLS, how do we display the cipher being used for a TCP connection?

Answer

Issue the display command D TCPIP,,N,CONN,CONNT=TTLSP,CURR to find the connection ID under the 'CONN' field. Then issue either one of the following commands to verify what cipher is being used for this connection ID (xxxx):

  • NETSTAT TTLS CONN xxxx

  • NETSTAT TTLS CONN xxxx DETAIL

A detailed description of the NETSTAT TTLS CONN xxxx and NETSTAT TTLS CONN xxxx DETAIL output is found in the topic Netstat TTLS/-x report in IP System Administrator's Commands.
