Is optional source code supplied with CICS TS?

Does IBM provide any optional source code with CICS Transaction Server for z/OS (CICS TS)? I would like a copy of the source code for DFHJUP so I can modify the utility to add more functionality than what I see documented under Reading log streams using batch jobs (for example, DFHJUP) in the CICS documentation.

Answer

As of CICS TS v4.2, the optional source code libraries are no longer shipped. In previous releases, the sample job DFH0PSRC was used to load optional source material from the distribution tapes. DFH0PSRC was generated when the DFHISTAR job was run. This is no longer available, as optional source material is not supplied. This is documented under Loading other optional features in the CICS documentation.

With regards to DFHJUP specifically, CICS never shipped the source code to allow you to customized DFHJUP.
