What browser versions are supported by both Bluemix and DevOps?

Question by KipHarris  (16) | Apr 09, 2015 at 01:16 PM versionibmcloudsupportbrowserversionssupported

While I have found several forum posts stating "lastest version of IE, FF, Chrome, Safari" are supported; I have not found a statement of specific ranges of browsers. Is only the very latest version of FF supported? With all available fixes? What fixes needed? And so on.

Several posts have also pointed to the link https://developer.ibm.com/bluemix/support/#prereqs, however that page currently just loops you back to this forum or Stack Overflow. Hoping to find a definitive "System Requirements" page that is kept current at all times.

The available features in browsers these days change so often (not to mention version numbers) that it's hard to pinpoint and track which ones are required.

In general, Bluemix will simply require a "modern" browser. That probably includes just about any recent version of Chrome, Firefox, or Opera, Safari 7+, and Internet Explorer 10+. That's just an educated guess, though.

I've used Bluemix on some older browsers too (e.g. Safari 5 for Windows) and it "works" but some features don't work well or display quite right.

The link should really be: https://developer.ibm.com/bluemix/support/#prereqs but somehow when opening it from this page, it goes to first tab. Please click on the "Prerequisites" tab to see the current list of supported browsers.

did not see any Pre-requisites tab, do you have the direct link/URL. Do we support Edge on bluemix? If people are using windows 10, likely they use Edge.
