Question
In our Telnet server profile, we defined the following in the TELNETPARMS section:
Encryption
SSL_AES_256_SHA
EndEncryption
When we display the profile, it does not show this level of encryption as available.
Answer
Encryption level SSL_AES_256_SHA is not part of the base Cipher Suite included with z/OS ServerPac.
To obtain that encryption level you must also order separately product z/OS V1 Security Level 3 5694-A01 01.13.00 FMID JCPT3D1.
