Question & Answer
Question
How do I verify that a TCP/IP stack is enabled for IP Security?
Answer
You can use the Netstat CONFIG/-f command to determine whether IP security is enabled:
From the TSO environment, issue the command NETSTAT CONFIG
From the UNIX shell environment, issue the command netstat -f
If the output report field, IpSecurity, contains the value Yes, then you have verified that IP security is enabled: the IPSECURITY parameter was defined on the IPCONFIG profile statement.
