How do I enable Configuration Assistant's default AT-TLS connectivity rules?

Question & Answer

Question

How do I enable Configuration Assistant's default AT-TLS connectivity rules?

Answer

Each stack comes preloaded with a set of default AT-TLS connectivity rules which are disabled. A disabled rule is not active in the AT-TLS policy. The default rules identify applications known to run using AT-TLS.

To enable a default AT-TLS connectivity rule:

  1. Select a stack from the Systems tab and click Actions > Rules.

  2. Select the rule and then Actions > Enable Rule to have it become part of the AT-TLS policy. You will be asked to verify that the port settings identifying the application are correct and that the key ring value for the rule is correct.

  3. Click Actions > Modify to change additional settings for the rule, such as the level of encryption or a set of IP addresses applicable for the rule.

  4. Click Actions > Copy to create additional default rules.
