Is it possible to install a firmware version earlier than 7.1.0 onto the new IBM DataPower Gateway (IDG) appliance?
We want our IDGs to match our XI52/XG45/XB62/etc.'s but I can't find the version they are running available for IDG.
Is there a IDG version available so the new appliances can match the existing appliances or is the only alternative to upgrade the existing appliance to a 7.1 version?

installing firmware versions prior to major release 7.1.0 on IDG is neither supported or possible. It seems the only alternative is to upgrade the existing appliances's to 7.1 version to match the existing appliances and new appliances firmware versions
