Question & Answer
Question
Is there a signon panel to use for IBM Session Manager for z/OS that can accept passphrases? I am converting from passwords to passphrases.
Answer
If the SYSTEM SECURITY statement PASSPHRASE parameter is set to 'Y', then the default SIGNONP panel checks the t_passphrase variable and if 'Y' allows the passphrase for signon. The SIGNONP panel is in the SISZCONF(ISZLENPU) member.
Here is the SIGNONP default without passphrase support.
Here is the SIGNONP if the SYSTEM SECURITY statement PASSPHRASE = YES is specified which allows for both password or passphrase to be keyed as input.
