How do I determine the installed service level of a VTAM module on my z/OS system?

Question & Answer

Question

I need to determine the installed maintenance level of a VTAM module on my system. Is there a command I can enter to determine what the maintenance level is?

Answer

To determine the installed maintenance level of a VTAM module on your z/OS system, enter the following command:

D NET,VTAMSTOR,MODULE=module_name

As an example, here is output from the D NET,VTAMSTOR,MODULE=ISTLLCM8 command, showing that the installed maintenance level for ISTLLCM8 is PTF UA14852:

 IST350I DISPLAY TYPE = VTAMSTOR
 IST1571I ISTLLCM8 ENTRY POINT IS 18FE644C LEVEL IS UA14852
 IST1574I -020 47F0F01C 17C9E2E3 D3D3C3D4 * 00**ISTLLCM

 IST314I END
