The IBM Installation Manager documentation in the IBM Knowledge Center contains a section on Working in silent mode.
There is also an IBM Redbooks Redpaper called Managing Enterprise-wide Deployment of IBM Explorer for z/OS or CICS Explorer (Document ID: REDP-5054-00).
