Question & Answer
Question
Why am I receiving DFHMQ0480 E MQCC=2 MQRC=2195 message when trying to communicate with WebSphere MQ from CICS Transaction Server for z/OS (CICS TS)?
Answer
LOGDATA shows your MQ address space had an abend 00D7 with RC=00000025 before the DFHMQ0480E message. The abend 00D7 with RC=00000025 is due to the MQ address space going away. Afterwards, whatever tries to communicate with the address space suffers the DFHMQ0480 E error with MQCC 2 MQRC 2195 on cross memory operations.
