Documentation on implementing Driver Jar files

Question by RafaelUlhoa  (18) | Aug 26, 2015 at 03:36 PM itncmdriver

Does IBM have any documentation on how to implement and use custom jar files by custom drivers?

By default, every custom driver uses the same generic jar, mandating that all custom drivers function the same way. On the other hand, the ITNM driver uses a collection of libraries that allow a completely different functionality (such as importing devices), which would be useful when integrating TNCM with other systems or implementing different backup methods (e.g. a server contains all the device configuration files).

Hello,

Below is a link to the documentation that provides an overview of the ITNCM "Custom Drivers" functionality:

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS7UH9_6.4.1/ncm/wip/adm/concept/ncm_adm_customdriver_overview.dita?lang=en

Furthermore, the instructions for creating a custom driver can be found at the following URL:

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS7UH9_6.4.1/ncm/wip/adm/task/ncm_adm_creatingcustomdriver.dita?lang=en

I hope this is helpful. Let us know if you have further questions.

Thank you,

Scot
