Why am I receiving message DFHAP0701 with an abend0C4 abendAKEA in CMRCMPX6 followed by MainView messages like FT900I and FT910I indicating that BMC MAINVIEW CICS agents terminated? I'm running CICS Transaction Sever for z/OS (CICS TS) V5.1.
I receive the following message:
DFHAP0701 An abend (code 0C4/AKEA) has occurred in exit program CMRCMPX6 at exit point XMNOUT.
This is followed by some MainView messages:
FT3084E MAINVIEW for CICS Extractor deactivation failed
FT900I MAINVIEW CICS agents termination started (SS down)
FT812I AutoOPERATOR for CICS termination started
BCA100I CICS MESSAGE INTERCEPT TERMINATED
FT813I AutoOPERATOR for CICS termination complete
FT910I MAINVIEW CICS agents termination ended

BMC suggested applying PTF BPZ0766 to resolve this problem. Contact BMC Support if you need additional assistance.
Reviewing the dump, you will find a task is terminating, and CICS is doing performance monitoring. CICS invokes global user exit - XMNOUT, giving control to program CMRCMPX6. This program fails with an ABEND0C4 on a compare logical compare instruction, due to trying to reference a common storage address that is 'FREE' at the time of the dump.
