DFHDS0002 0204 in DFHDSTCB when running ASG SmartTest

Why am I receiving DS0002 SVC dumps and message DFHDS0002 with server error code X'0204' in DFHDSTCB in my CICS region?

This is the message I receive:

DFHDS0002 A severe error (code X'0204') has occurred in module DFHDSTCB

I also noticed that when I look at the Internal Trace table in the DS0002 SVC dump, that there is an entry that looks like this:

DS 0204 DSTCB EXC DSTCB_INVALID_ABTERM

I have vendor product ASG-SmartTest installed in this region.

Answer

The problem is caused by the vendor software SmartTest. IBM has been given the following list of ASG PTFs that will be needed to resolve the problem:

PP00793

PP00796

PP00814

Note that this list may be incomplete. You should contact ASG to get a complete list of fixes that address the DFHDS0002 x'0204' problem in their products that you have installed.
