I have windows 10 and just tried to install spss version 23 and it saved to drive C, then i have to find the file for IBM, then click the file for spss, then click the file again for statistics, then click it again for 23, then when I click 23 about 600 files are available. How do i install this so it works properly?

I can't tell what you have done, but if you downloaded Statistics, the download would not have anywhere near 600 files. More like 50. After it is installed, there would be around 600 files in the installation directory, so maybe you have already installed it and can just launch it.
If you haven't actually installed it, you would need to run the setup executable in wherever you saved the initial download or image. You would normally see a menu of choices which would let you pick the install.

Please post a new question for your problem. And let me know what version of SPSS Statistics you are using. Is it SPSS Statistics 23?
