Why does running the Rational Synergy 7.1 'ccm status' command not list active sessions by the same user?

Cause:
The behaviour of 'ccm status' changed in Rational Synergy 7.1. The 'ccm status' command now differentiates between usernames written in lower and upper case.
Resolution:
If you start a Synergy session as a user with the username written in lower case (e.g. myuser) but run 'ccm status' as the same user with the username in upper case letters, i.e. MYUSER, then no session information will returned. In this case you can run 'ccm status' with the -u | -username option as in: ccm status -u myuser This will then return active sessions by 'myuser' when these are started using the lower case username. Alternatively, run the command as 'myuser'.
