I have everything at v15 (clients and svr) and was wondering the best way to migrate to V16 or can we coexist with both versions??
Will V15 clients work with v16 server? I am guessing not since they appear to be matched pairs.
I assume the TA server needs to be matched version for version with Modeler Srv.
If not, do I need to change everything (clients and srv) over at one time? Including the TA server?? Or is it just better to start fresh with each version??
I thought I remembered reading that I could run a v15 server and v16 server on the same machine but needed to change the port in the config file of one of them?? If so, assume TA server needs to be changed to the right version directory?
Finally, how doe v15/v16 licenses work with concurrent licence server? Modeler clients use v15 network license now. Can I load v16 client on our computers and existing v15 license will work? Can you have a mix of license versions on license server??

Modeler 15 and 16 can coexist on the same computer but v15 clients can only connect with v15 server and the same holds with v16. The text analytics version must match the Modeler version. The default port numbers should change with each version so the best upgrade path is to install v16, make sure it works, and then remove v15.
I have found in the past that you can have multiple versions of Modeler use the same license server. However, if you run into problems, you will need to make sure the license server is what was supplied with the software as that is the supported configuration.
