Can run PLS Syntax, but not from dialog box. How can I run from dialog box
I am using SPSS 18.0.3 for Mac, with the 18.0.1 python plug in and PLS installed. When I try to run pls from the dialog box, I get the error message "The PLS dialog box is an extension procedure that requires the PLS extension module to be installed". I have pls.py and plscommand.xl installed in extensions, and python 2.6.7. Is there a way I can get it to run from the dialog box? Thank you.

What would the right versions be? I have tried different configurations with python 2.7 and python 2.6. What should I be using for SPSS 18.0.3 for the mac?
For SPSS 18 you should be using Python 2.6 (preferably 2.6.2). Try copying the pls files (both the XML file and the .py file) to:<br>
/Library/Application Support/SPSSInc/PASWStatistics/18/extensions
