Question
When we activate an IPSec tunnel we get this error message:
EZD0981I Unable to set ID - ID mismatch
Answer
If the identity that is contained within a received certificate does not match the identity that is configured on the
RemoteSecurityEndPoint statement, message EZD0981I is issued.
Verify that the LocalSecurityEndpoint and RemoteSecurityEndpoint statements have valid identity strings and are defined correctly. Review the configuration of the IKE peer to confirm that it uses the same identity as is locally configured.
