Why do I receive ISPF short message "Server error, rc= 4, rsn= 48, Download Buffer too small" when I select CICS Batch Application Control for z/OS (CICS BAC) ISPF dialog option 1 'VSAM files' on panelid CBKPRGRM for 'Region Resources' in my test LPAR instead of getting a list of VSAM files returned?

If I select a different region it returns all the files. It is only failing for a few regions.

I'm wondering if there some restriction on how many files can be displayed.

To resolve "Server error, rc=4, rsn=48, Download Buffer too small", you can either increase the MAXDOWNLOADPAGES from the default of 256 up to 999 or specify a data set name filter on the ISPF panel to only request a subset of VSAM files.
