When I try and open my SPSS file (Mac OSX 10.11.3; SPSS v22), it gives me this message: "The specified file is empty. Select another text file." I'm not sure what happened--I was using SPSS, it crashed, and when I re-opened the file/program, it gave me that message.

The file also appears to be 0 MB now. This is an SPSS file which has had much manipulation done to it since the raw file and I would very much like to recover it, if possible. How can I open the file/recover the file?
