Can I use VTAM's CSDUMP command to take a dump of TCPIP?

Question & Answer

Question

Can I use VTAM's CSDUMP command to take a dump of TCPIP?

Answer

The TCPNAME operand can be added to the MODIFY VTAM CSDUMP command to include the TCPIP address space in a CSDUMP. In addition to the TCPIP address space, the dump will also include the current address space.

Example -

 f vtam,csdump,tcpname=tcpcs
       IST097I MODIFY ACCEPTED
       IST223I MODIFY CSDUMP COMMAND COMPLETED

VTAM is the procname and TCPCS is the TCPIP jobname in the example provided.
