CICS Explorer 5.3 missing filter box for searching results in views

I recently upgraded to z/OS Explorer V3 Aqua with CICS Explorer V5.3.2 and noticed all my CICS SM perspective views are missing the filter box. How can I filter my CICS views without a search box for filters?

Answer

CICS Explorer V5.3 has been improved to provide a dialog to customize views where you can add one or more filters on any column in the view without having to use up horizontal space on the view tab.

For example, on z/OS Explorer V2.1 using CICS Explorer V5.2 on the 'Region' view, the default filter is the name of the job and displays as follows...

After upgrading to z/OS Explorer V3 Aqua with CICS Explorer V5.3.2 the 'Region' view (and all other views in the 'CICS SM' perspective) no longer show a filter box and display like this...

If you click the pencil alt text icon, you can add filters as in the following example to add a generic job name...
