Question & Answer
Question
When I have an MPR that is hung, what should I do to get it stopped?
Answer
Enter the /STOP REGION reg# ABDUMP command.
If that doesn't work, you can try entering the /STOP REGION reg# CANCEL command.
With this command you run the risk of causing the IMS control region to terminate with an ABENDU0113 if parallel DL/I is being used.
Note: reg# is the region identifier (region number).
