After migrating from z/OS Comm Server V1R13 up to V2R2, we experienced the following : When we issue
VARY TCPIP,,START,IUTIQDE0
To start the device we get:
EZZ0060I PROCESSING COMMAND: VARY TCPIP,,START,IUTIQDE0
EZZ0053I COMMAND VARY START COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY
EZZ4308I ERROR: CODE=8010002A DURING ACTIVATION OF DEVICE IUTIQDE0.
DIAGNOSTIC CODE: 02
IST1631I IUTIQDE0 SUBCHANNEL E001 QDIO PNET SERVICE FAILED

APAR OA50324 addresses this situation.
