I am using IBM's Host On-Demand V 12. How do I find which JRE I am running on my client PC? Is there a way I can find out through some java script or a java issued command?

IBM's Host On-Demand (HOD) V 12 now supports JREs at both the 32-bit and 64-bit architecture. There are two varieties of JREs a Host On-Demand user can use: Oracle's and IBM's JRE.Typing the following command will provide you a great deal of information about the java version you are using -- including the vendor. The command works on both the Windows and Linux platforms.
java -XshowSettings:properties -version
