Why do messages continue to queue to a transaction that has been stopped?

Question & Answer

Question

Transactions continue to queue to a stopped transaction.

Answer

Messages are queued to a stopped transaction if they are inserted to the transaction via a program switch (ISRT to ALTPCB) from another transaction. Stopping a transaction only prevents TM queuing. Message switches ( ISRTs ) are not prevented.
