Hi All,
I had created entry templates to Add documents through ICN and Entry template should be the only option for users to add documents to repository and not the default Add document wizard.
But while doing Drag and Drop, the Add document wizard appears and not the entry templates. This is the same case with Add Document button as well in the search and browse view.
Is there any configuration I need to make to get Entry templates in both these cases.
I have ICN version 2.0.3 FP 2.
Thank you in Advance.
Assign the entry template to the Folder. Dropping the document in it will call the template

The drag and drop add with entry template feature is not implemented yet.

When you define entry templates, that does not mean that all adds to the system are limited to using one of those entry templates. You are defining entry templates that can be used directly, or can be associated with a folder. When you add an item to a folder that has associated entry templates, one of those entry templates must be selected.
You can force using a set of entry templates for all adds by associating the entry templates with the repository root folder for browsing. The root folder entry templates apply when adding to each child folder, unless entry templates are associated with the child folder. At that point, the entry templates associated with the child folder override the root set and also apply to the folders contained by the child folder. Also, when you add items using the global Add actions, or add items from inside the search feature, the entry templates associated with the browse root folder apply.
Also, I would recommend updating to the current released level, ICN 2.0.3 FP7.

To associate entry templates with the root folder of a P8 repository, right-click on the root folder in the ICN browse feature's tree view and click on the Properties action. Entry templates are associated in the Associate Entry Templates tab.
Entry templates are associated with the root folder of a CM repository by an ICN administrator in the ICN repository configuration for the CM repository, in the Configuration Parameters tab. Click the Set Associations button at the bottom.
I would also recommend updating to the current released level, ICN 2.0.3 FP7.
Does this work for the search results screen in a url driven auto-search? i.e. if a add document entry template is associated with the root folder, will a drag-and-drop to the search results section invoke the Add Document Using Entry Template wizard instead of the standard Add Document wizard?
