Error: Could not open WOLA message catalog wola_cics_messages.cat

Question

Since I have been using z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition (zCEE) V2.0.0 and now with zCEE V2.0.1, why does the BBOC output in my CICS region contain the following error? 

 Error: Could not open WOLA message catalog wola_cics_messages.cat

In my installation directory I see only one file with that name, located at wlp/lib/native/zos/s390x/nls/wola_cics_messages.cat

I have verified that all file permissions are 777 from the root down to that file.

I am not sure how I can get BBOC to see WOLA message catalog wola_cics_messages.cat.

The z/OS Connect V2 EE documentation topic Configuring CICS to use WebSphere optimized local adapters (WOLA) does not mention configuring the WOLA message catalog.

If I check the WebSphere Application Server Liberty documentation in topic Enabling support for Liberty optimized local adapters in CICS it describes in step 4 how to set up the Liberty message catalog in the CICS region by compiling and linking CEEROPT to specify the NLSPATH in the ENVAR for language environment.

You can use the CLER transaction and PF5 to display the ENVAR that is currently set.

The z/OS Connect V2 EE documentation will be updated to include the step for configuring CICS CEEROPT for the NLSPATH ENVAR.
