Why does your BAQLS2JS job keep ending with RC=3584 and STDERR DD shows the following message?
/java/J8.0_64/: /usr/lpp/IBM/zosconnect/v3r0/bin/baqls2js 28: FSUM9209 cannot execute: reason code = 0b1b011f: EDC5111I Permission denied.
I am running my first BAQLS2JS job using the z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition directory. I have confirmed multiple times that I have the correct permissions set to 755 for PGM /usr/lpp/IBM/zosconnect/v3r0/bin/baqls2js.
Cause
BAQLS2JS is failing due to sequence numbers (00400016) in columns 73-80 of the STDENV DD input statements.
Answer
While in edit mode on the JCL in ISPF, enter an UNNUM command and then a NUM OFF command to remove the sequence numbers from cols 73-80. Then resubmit the BAQLS2JS job.
