When setting up DataPower Operations Dashboard, is it mandatory to disable SOAP Management URI and SOAP Configuration Management for the XML Management interface for the monitored DataPower appliance?

From the OperationsDashboardKnowledgeCenter.pdf link above, page 51 states the following:
Perform Required Configuration On Monitored Device(s)
The following set of steps needs to be performed on each of your monitored devices Set IBM DataPower Gateway System Identifier (also called Appliance Name in firmware 7 and above). This is defined on [Administratio n->Device->System Settings->System Identifier / Appliance Name] :
Configure the services in the XML Management [Network->Management->XML Management Interface] as follows:
Enable SOAP Configuration Management
Enable AMP Endpoint
Enable SLM Endpoint
Enable WS-Management Endpoint
Disable (uncheck) SOAP Management URI
Disable (uncheck) SOAP Configuration Management (v2004)
Note: It is imperative to disable SOAP Management URI. For more details, refer to the following document, clause 1.2 - http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redpapers/pdfs/redp4446.pdf

The development team has confirmed the following:
Disable (uncheck) SOAP Management URI Disable (uncheck) SOAP Configuration Management (v2004)
The above are only requirements for DataPower firmware Versions 6.x.
Please note the documentation is being updated to reflect this information and is targeted for the DPOD 1.1 release updates.
