Does CE support native compression supported by Hitachi Content Platform Storage?
I am using Hitachi Content Platform as the fixed content device for the CE storage area. To save space, I would like to know if HCP native compression is supported by FileNet. Does FileNet support this technique?

I don't believe we tested with HCP encryption enabled, but if Hitachi support confirms that compression is completely transparent to the consumer of the device, then yes it is supported. A better option might be to use built in CPE content storage compression, which does apply to fixed content devices.
