I want to use "Use Count" Attribute of CICSplex Transaction Definition Information to monitor one transaction. The documentation describes Use Count as "the total number of times this transaction has been invoked since CICS was initialized". But when I use it, I see that its value sometimes decrease or change back to 0. How is this possible?
Answer
The data will be reset whenever CICS statistics are reset, so it will go back to 0 and start again. The control parameter STATINT in CICS system initialization table (SIT) specifies the recording interval for interval statistics.
