How do I start the Service Manager on HOD 12.0 which is installed on my iSeries?

As part of upgrading from HOD 11.0.14 I successfully installed on my iSeries the HOD version 12.0 using the IBM Installation Manager; therafter I cannot start the Service Manager using command STRHODSVM as there is no QHOD library installed.

Things have changed a bit in HOD 12 vs HOD 11 regarding how to start the HOD Service Manager. Please reference the link below:

The above link explains the replacement for menu items that appear with GO HOD. Once you are on the page in the link above, please search for the section titled:

"Configuring Host On-Demand on IBM System i"

Under that section there are commands to start and stop the HOD Service Manager.
