I am using CICS VSAM Transparency for z/OS (CICS VT) V2.1 and have plans to install DB2 V12.1. Is CICS VT V2.1 compatible with DB2 V12.1? I would like to know if any maintenance is required before I upgrade to the new version.
Answer
CICS VT APAR PI74775 has been created for changes needed to run CICS VT 2.1 with DB2 V12.1. Without the APAR changes, distributed data management (DDM) generation will currently fail in module VIDSPLIT.
APAR PI74775 is now available on PTF UI44074.
