I'm trying to assist a client remotely. They recently moved a workstation from one desk to another and assigned it to a new user. As far as I can readily tell they did little other than delete the prior user's account and assign the workstation to the new user.
The user can log into Datacap with Datacap Desktop, but the dropdown for applications is blank.
when I ask them to open Application Manager they showed me screen shot and it is completely blank. No applications, no way to verify the path to the server, nothing.
I asked them to re-run the 9.0.0.3 update thinking maybe something got deleted. All the appropriate files seem to be in the Datacap folder, but obviously something is missing.
Thoughts?

Did you check if the client's computer is have permissions to access the datacap server? If they don't have the permissions to read the datacap folder (datacap.xml), then no applications will show up. Also make sure that the application manager is pointing to the right Datacap.xml
