What the procedure to apply FP by console mode for Omnibus 8.1?
Trying to install FP10 for Omnibus 8.1, according to readme file, this FixPack seems to be applied by GUI mode of InstallationManager. But my client's environment is diifucult to use GUI due to strict policy.
Then would you let me know the procedure to apply FP by using console mode?
As mentioned in the readme file, you can run imcl -c to start installation in console mode.
Installation manager path by default is : /home/<username>/InstallationManager/eclipse/tools/
Below is my steps to install FP10: 1. run ./imcl -c 2. select "P" for Preferences 3. Select: 1. Repositories 4. select D. Add Repository 5. Enter a new repository location. To skip, press Enter: -----> <path of you unzip fixpack package>/OMNIbusRepository/composite 6. Uncheck S. [ ] Search service repositories during installation and updates 7. A. Apply Changes and Return to Preferences Menu 8. R. Return to Main Menu 9. Select 2. Update - Find and install updates and fixes to installed software packages 10. follow the promote to complete upgrade.
