Question

There's a CICS triggered transaction that reads messages from a WebSphere MQ (WMQ) queue, but abends an equal number of times.

The CICS log contains messages :

DFHAC2236 CICSTR Transaction T436 ABEND ASRA in program CSQCTRUE term ????. Updates to local recoverable resources will be backed out.

DFHDU0203I 12/13/01 09:58:59 CICSTR A transaction dump was taken for dumpcode: ASRA, Dumpid: x/abcd.

DFHDU0203I 12/13/01 09:58:59 CICSTR A transaction dump was taken for dumpcode: ASRA, Dumpid: y/efgh.

Answer

The DFHRPL or STEPLIB concatenation for CICS is pointing to a backlevel library for SCSQAUTH, or some other library that does not contain a current level of the CSQAVICM member.
