Dear Community, I have problems with the coustom tables. I regulary do such tables with a lot of binary varibles, so both categories (mostly yes-no-categories) show up in the custom table. Because I am only interested in the yes-categories of the variables, I only want to see the yes-category in the output (table). I tried different options but I couldn´t find a way that both categories are used to calculate the % but only the yes-category is shown in the table. Is it possible to integrate a subcommand/specification.. in the syntax of the CTABLE Command to solve that problem?
If not, is there a way to edit the output? So that I delete the rows? I want to delete the rows because I want to export the table to excel and hidden rows will be exported too. BEcuase there are a lot rows to delete, I will not use the Table editor for that. Is there a Syntax Command for such operations? I tried different versions with the OUTPUT MODIFY Command but I didn´t find a way to delete certain rows.
I use SPSS 22 with a windows system and I have no idea about phython.
Thank you very much!!!! Julia
Thank you for your fast answer, Bettina. I think I get it. Just one question left: If I include more than one Variable, I need to wirte it like that /CATEGORIES VARIABLES= Q30ar14 [0, 1, &cat1] /CATEGORIES VARIABLES= Q5c1 [0, 1, &cat1] .... Why can´t I do it like this: /CATEGORIES VARIABLES= Q5c1 [0, 1, &cat1] Q30ar14 [0, 1, &cat1]
