If I have a booking_date_start_time and a booking_date_end_time in two columns how do I calculate the time difference between them in SPSS modeler?
Column A. Column B 09/05/2014 9:56 and 9/05/2014 10:10
Hi, date and time manipulation often requires some formatting effort.
In general, you have to make sure each field has the proper format (here timestamp) and if not, find a way to convert what you have (string, date, time) into a timestamp field.
Then you can use time_secs_difference to compute the time difference in seconds. There is also time_mins_difference and time_hours_difference.link text
See the attached stream.
