Can Document Info Pane effect Performance of System

Greetings

The Document Info pane which shows the properties of documents when a document is selected in the Content List can effect performance of the system ? Does it query on repository everytime when a document is selected ?

Hi Lakshya -

Exposing this pane can produce performance degradation but it is dynamic in nature and varies between environments. This Properties Pane can be disabled in the ICN Admin Desktop settings if you would like to test the results on your environment.
