Question
After upgrading my CICS Explorer to V5.3.0.11, why is my CICS management client interface (CMCI) connection to the Web User Interface (WUI) server failing with message IZE0106E with error string "URLBlockedInterna"?
The exception trace shows an http 403 Forbidden.
Answer
The client determined that their local proxy server was blocking the connection. After updating the proxy server configuration, the CICS Explorer CMCI connection to the mainframe was successful and message IZE0106E with URLBlockedInterna was no longer seen.
