I have SPSS Modeler 18.0 installed on a VM as well as on my laptop. This problem appeared this week in both installations. When I click Extensions>Extension Hub, the connection message appears briefly indicating that it is connecting to the SPSS Predictive Analytics Community. But then nothing. Clicking a second time gets the same initial result, but then the Extension Hub menu appears. However, the menu show NO extensions are available and it shows that I have no extensions installed. I have many extensions installed and they work.
What is causing this issue?
Thank you for your post. If I understand your description correctly, you were able to use Modeler Client 18 and its Extension Hub feature previously on these same machines that you are now using. Can you describe what type of changes took place in your machines recently? As far as I know, we have not changed the location of the Extension Hub portal and that it is still being housed in the Predictive Analytics community.
To delve deeper into this problem, can you review your client_logging.log for more information. On a Windows installation, the default location of this file is found in: C:\ProgramData\IBM\SPSS\Modeler\18.0\log\
Finally, with regards to your installed extensions, are you looking at the 'Installed' tab of the Extension Hub dialog window to confirm that your previously-installed extensions are listed?
