How can I open an output from previous SPSS version using SPSS 24 in OSX 10.9 after a sussessful installation?
Hi! I successfully downloaded SPSS 24 in my apple, which uses OS X 10.9 5. However, when I try to open my data set I get a grey window. I also get a new and empty data window. I have tried to open my data from the desktop. Please any suggestions?
I am sorry but this is probably because SPSS 24 will not properly on this older Mavericks OSX 10.9.x
It is not supported on that platform because SPSS 24 was developed for newer Apple OSX, as Apple changed a lot of its Java components and we need to take this into account for the recent SPSS releases. On 10.9 SPSS 23 and 22 were supported. Maybe your University has a copy of release 23 or 22 you can use on your Mac.
